Goals
WECANHELP provides financial and in-kind aid assistance to rural and urban desperately destitute situations in Valencia, Venezuela.
WECANHELP offers humanitarian assistance to children, adults, and families in need of food, education, health services, shelter, and recovery from natural/man-made disasters.
WECANHELP saves lives through the assistance we offer those in the direst need after prudently vetting each situation.
Our Mission
++ In 1988 WECANHELP was established to assist with serving some of the poorest of the poor in the greater Valencia region. Early in our work, we helped the poor become more comfortable. Now, we are saving lives, which are impoverished beyond belief.
++ WECANHELP spends every dollar raised on essential expenditures. No one associated with WECANHELP accepts or receives a salary, fee, gratuity, or “perk.” Time and administrative supplies are all donated. We are a multifaceted “no frills” effort that uses every cent we raise for the people we help. During the early years, a few trusted missionaries assisted WECANHELP within the “fields”/barrios, but since visas have become impossible to obtain, we now depend upon vital volunteers at Colegio Internacional de Carabobo (CIC). These trusted professional colleagues, who deliver the services specified in the WECANHELP update bulletins, are invaluable and essential partners. WECANHELP bulletins are distributed to all donors three times a year.
++ WECANHELP is a legally established U.S. 502-c3 Foundation. We provide individual annual contribution statements to all our donors each January for personal use.
++ We have created this basic website with no funding from our accrued donations. Hosting our WECANHELP website is entirely cost-free from Kualo Free Charity Webhosting.
